PERFECT

My boyfriend is the perfect man. Today I got flowers delivered to my door. Beautiful mini & large roses with shades of Red to Yellow (my fav. color). IT could not even get better than this. I know I was told to wait for the "perfect man". But I had no idea that it was going to be this wonderful. I wish I could express how happy I really am!!! Why do I get to be so lucky?

Case Studies:

I am currently engrossed in doing a mass amount of case studies... I am sick of doing them I feel as though I am getting a DEGREE in case studies!!! This is my face in a scanner. I have scanned sooo many picture today that I saw my arm in every other scan... SO why not try it?

You know you always wanted to...
Okay so I didn't smile the first time, and I couldn't open my eyes... again!

Okay that is better.. haha! you know how funny this was to do.. I was hard to keep a "strait" and not laugh out loud. I had to wait till this guy in my studio went around the corner so no one knew I was this silly.... I mean this is not professional (and I am "in a professional degree")!

Here I am in KANSAS the day before school starts and I am bored crazy. I am excited about school but scared. I just hope it gose super fast. I hate being away from Curtis.
The last few days have been great. I have been setting up my appartment (which I love) and hanging out with friends. The weather has cooled off a bit but I am still warm. The Mountains spoiled me. I am ready for winter. I hope to have fun on the slopes....... WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL...

Well the rain hasn't stopped yet.. There has been a few good sunny days though. I have been golfing like crazy, but last Monday I hurt my wrist while golfing. So now I can't golf for a while. I am hoping it is not long lasting damage.
My boyfriend, Curtis, has got his first Professional Architecture Job in Avon, Co: http://www.zehren.com/ He has also found new roommates in Eagle-Vail that is about a mile away from his work. He is now off to pack his things and come back here to Colorado in a week.

Spring Break was such a relief. I sort of thought I didn’t have to go back to school at the end. I started out the week with St. Patty’s Day. Danton, Curtis, and I had a few Irish Car Bombs and had a blast while REAL BAG PIPES were playing in O’Malley’s. What a great time.

The next day Curtis and I drove to his hometown: Garden City, KS. This was in the middle of no where. But it was a good sized town. Monday over 6 inches of snow fell. It was pretty but not what I was expecting for spring break until we got to COLORADO….

Speaking of Colorado… after a few days of working on homework and PlayStation in Garden City we were on our way to see my parents in Summit County. Their new house is really nice and I am soo happy they were able to find it. On the way there we ran across this sign that claims they have the omaga of gardens....

We hit the slopes at Keystone and Breck the rest of the week. The snow was pretty good but then by Sunday there was an ice layer not so much fun… but I LOVE BOARDING!

Saturday I got help from my dad and Curtis to weld my steel sculpture for class. It turned out really nice. I haven’t finished the project yet but this is it so far. I was able to complete all the welds inside until the bottom which you see in this image. It is called Numerous You, because at any front on view one is able to see a U space.

Group #1 (Ilum):

This Group's design was chosen for further development for Project Solar House. The design was very elegant.

There presentation was Top Notch!

This year in studio we are as a team designing a solar powered house. We will design, detail, and build this house all before October 2007.

We also started an organization to collaborate with as many disciplines as possible: such as Engineering, Business, Architecture, Construction, Graphic Design, Accounting, and much more. This organization was put together by the students and was named Project Solar House. I serve as their president.

Starting out we divided up into four groups: Group #1 (ilum), Group #2, Group #3, and Group #4. I was in Group #2.

So I had this weird dream and I don't know the point, but this father and his two daughters were in the car next to us driving down the highway. Some how we were talking to them with still being in separate cars and driving.... They were telling us that they just drove 3 hours and still headed to the beach (where we were headed). It was about an hour away. I don't know what was going on but lots of strange things happened along the way... Nothing that I can remember, but then we ended up on the beach and it looked like an East coast Beach... and there were extra amount of animals. Like sea lions and birds. And there were tons of people (thus the east coast beach feel). Oh and the highway just exited on to the sand (beach).

AND then we all surfed like we all have great experience. :)

That's all.. I don't know what (if any) the point was...

OHHHHH>>>>>>>> my shirt just broke!!! GRRRRRRRR! Back to reality!

Well...

One thing that is amazing is this world! I have been traveling around lately and really am taken a back by the incredible beauty that is out there. I know that sound Cheesy, but I have definitely been to a few places, but I have always just taken these beauties for granted.

This last Wednesday I drove up to the mountains. It is an experience that EVERYONE should have. It truly takes your breath away.

Then I drove up the coast watching the waves crashing in. I just want to quit working and become a hippy. So I could soak up details of Nature. HA HA. It is great to enjoy this beautiful world!

I am at work trying to keep myself here. It is Friday at 2:30ish... I never do well at 2 or 3 (I need a nap or break) but I am even worse on Friday. Tonight I am going to a party in the city at a co-worker's Loft. I am hoping I get to meet people there. I am hoping there are young people there.

On Saturday I am going snowboarding with some friends (co-workers). Then I am going with a different set of people (Rick's old co-workers and that group) on Sunday. Then it is going to be really ruff getting up for work on Monday. being out on the slopes wears me down.

I feel SOOOOOOO young out here!

I talked to my good friend Phil (he was in my studio last semester) the other night and I decided on the phone he sounds high. He just laughed at me.. haha Not like I can talk, But it was funny.

Right now I am obsessed with Green day. The man (billy) is Beautiful! AND you can't beat the voice and the music is just rockin'!

Well I am going to finish cutting out these trusses! I really do love my job. How cool is it to get paid to do what excites you?

Ok. Road trip on the way!
The plan:

leaving early in the morning tomorrow: Headed South. Through tons of tolls... :-p

finding a place to sleep in Albuquerque.. that is about 13 hours of drive time.

Then ON to California the next morning. strait out west. Then Head north at Bakersfield.... This will be 17 hours.!!

Then I will be to my destination after:

1,950 miles
ave. time.... 30hours... of pure driving.

Hopefully I will have picture of my boring "little trip"!
Wish me luck! :)
